Wat is straling?

Straling is energieoverdracht zonder dat er sprake is van direct contact.
Op basis van energiegehalte en risico wordt straling onderverdeeld in:
ioniserende straling zoals röntgen-/gammastraling en deeltjesstraling
niet-ioniserende straling zoals warmte, licht, micro- en radiogolven

Scholing

De NVS bevordert de overdracht van (wetenschappelijke) kennis en inzichten over stralingshygiëne door het aanbieden van cursussen en symposia.

bi-annual IYNC conference (International Youth Nuclear Congress)

On July 12-18, 2010 the next bi-annual IYNC conference (International Youth Nuclear Congress) will be held in Cape Town, South Africa.

One of the tracks will be on 'Medical Applications of Nuclear Technology'.

We kindly invite you to submit abstracts to this upcoming event and to spread this information to your colleagues.
