Wat is straling?

Straling is energieoverdracht zonder dat er sprake is van direct contact.
Op basis van energiegehalte en risico wordt straling onderverdeeld in:
ioniserende straling zoals röntgen-/gammastraling en deeltjesstraling
niet-ioniserende straling zoals warmte, licht, micro- en radiogolven

Scholing

De NVS bevordert de overdracht van (wetenschappelijke) kennis en inzichten over stralingshygiëne door het aanbieden van cursussen en symposia.

FS-eV Annual Meeting 2010

27 - 30 september 2010
The German-Swiss Ass. of Radiation Protection will held its Annual Meeting 2010 on the North Sea Island Borkum.
The theme of this meeting is "Natural and artificial radionuclides in our environment".

Because the meeting will take place near to the NL, we would very appreciate the participation of colleagues from the Netherlands. As a member of the Program Committe I would like to inform you about this Meeting and ask you to inform colleagues of the NL RP Association for contributions.
The official deadline for submission of abstracts is November 30 - however contributions submitted somewhat later will certainly accepted, too.
I would be grateful if you could inform other colleagues from NL regarding our Meeting.

jubileum

Op 4 februari 2010 bestond de NVS 50 jaar.
Dit 10de lustrum werd gevierd met een 2-daags symposium op 8 en 9 april 2010.
